We can’t believe we’re already over halfway through 2024! We have welcomed some fantastic changes in clinic this year which we would love to share with you all.
We started the year by welcoming two Vets to our team, Dr Nicole Oreb and Dr Nicholas Lim, who you may have already had the pleasure of meeting. We have also welcomed back Dr Peggy and our head nurse Elly from maternity leave.
This year has seen a lot of continuing education for our team. Our Vets have attended courses covering Dentistry, Abdominal Surgery, Advanced Wound Closure, Cushing’s Disease, and Feline Health. While our Nurses have been refreshing their knowledge in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing, Behaviour, Anaesthesia, and Paediatric Anaesthesia. Dr Jane was also able to attend the AVA conference in Melbourne this May.
Excitingly, we have upgraded our anaesthesia monitoring and dental equipment. We have also implemented a new digital system for our hospital forms.
We are excited to take part in the Crows Nest Fest on the 20th of October this year. We will be hosting a stall which will be well stocked with treats and fresh water for all our four-legged friends, please stop by to say hi!
